Wheelchair and amputee athletes are able to take part in the Bench Press in all Powerlifting Australia events, subject to meeting the rules for performing the lift. Access to the bench can be via wheelchair, coach assistance or other aids. Alternatively in many local events the broad Paralympic bench may be used.
